changes

It is finally Friday. There is nothing new and spectacular happening in my neck of the woods, but there have been a few things that have been on my mind, and here they are in no particular order:

• Whoever created those new flavored toothpastes are really ingenious. When they first came out they completely disgusted me. Who would want to brush their teeth with paste that tasted like herbs? (although the word paste alone is disgusting enough) But of course, lots of people fell for it. Including some of my close family members. As a result of spending a lot of time with them, and consequently using their toothpaste, I ended up using the Fresh Citrus Breeze flavored toothpaste. Then I went and bought some. THIS IS ALL A PART OF THEIR PLAN!!! We are all going to eventually use this stuff that isn't cleaning our teeth. Yes, that is right, I don't think that it is cleaning our teeth. There is no list of ingredients on the toothpaste, other than the 0.243% w/v of sodium flouride. No stamp from the Dental Association of America or Canada...nothing! It only says that it leaves your breath fresh, and your mouth feeling clean. No claims to prevent cavaties, no promises of plaque removal. NOTHING. This toothpaste is the one that is going to make us all toothless. That or put more money in the pockets of the dentists. Be careful people, don't be won over by Emril and his "BAM" - find a new toothpaste.

Now I can't remember what else I was going to complain about! The toothpaste rant is going to have to suffice. Off for a weekend of relaxation and junk food!
