I got the job! So now things really begin. I have to finish up work here, and then boot it to the city to see if I can find a place to live! I am moving to the city! The City! It is so strange to me to be moving back after all these years. And that Halifax has actually become The City to me. Before I moved here, I felt the same way about Halifax as I did about Antigonish...strange how things can change. There are so many things that I looking forward to, and they are in no particular geeky order: 1. The Halifax Public Library. For those of you who love reading and have ever been in the Antigonish Library you can understand this little problem. Little being the operative word. I think that my first apartment in first year was both bigger and held more books than the Antigonish Library. So I can't wait to have access to a real library, with books I actually want to read, instead of having 15 copies of Danielle Steel's Forever. 2. Sushi. All I can eat sushi. I can eat it day in and day out until I become sick of it. Because there are actually places in Halifax that sell Sushi! Imagine the novelty! Mmmmm...sushi. And moreover just really good food in general. Mmmm...good food. 3. City Life. And all that comes with it....eeeeee!! I am getting really excited!
