1. What is a fond holiday tradition from your childhood? When I was a kid, my most favorite holiday tradition was waiting for my parents to go to my Dad's Christmas party. I would be alone in the house, and I would be able to peacefully sit in front of the Christmas tree looking at all the pretty decorations and presents. Oh, and I would take a steak knife and open each and every one of my presents along the taped edges, and then tape them back up, with no one the wiser. Doesn't that just warm your heart?! 2. If you could start a new holiday tradition, what would it be? Giving everyone around me, including myself the option of not partaking in Christmas festivities. No questions asked, no long faces, just pure 100% acceptance of their wishes. 3. What is your favorite Christmas song and who sings it? I hate Christmas music, I can literally count on my hand the number of Christmas songs I like. I do like the John Lennon one, and there is a new version of "God Rest you Merry Gentlemen" by The Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLaughlin that almost made me want to buy the CD. What is the world coming too?? 4. Is there a certain event, food, television program, etc. that makes your Christmastime complete? Well I do get excited when I see that "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" is making it's seasonal rounds. Boxing Day is nice as well, because all the hassle and hustle and bustle is over and you can just sit back and relax.... 5. Does is traditionally snow where you live at Christmastime? If not, do you wish that it did? Yep, it most certainly does snow here, but we sometimes don't get it until January....or December 26th. I do agree that you need snow for it to feel like Christmas....

I love seeing Charlie Browns Christmas and the Grinch. They always make me feel especially happy and Christmasy.
