Yesterday was a marathon of exercise for me. I had decided earlier in the day that I wouldn't be going, I was tired and cranky and just didn't feel like going. Added to the fact that I had nothing to eat other than the rest of a bag of pink peppermints that I stole from Ca's desk that I asked her to keep from me the last time I tried to eat pink peppermints for lunch. Then L. called early in the morning and we were talking about going to the gym...I was waffling, and whining...I didn't want to go. We eventually decided on going for a walk in the park instead. We had a great walk, and L. mentioned as she was dropping me off that she was going to the gym, was I going? That was all I needed, the little push. 13 minutes later I was at the gym. I did 25 minutes of cardio, the circuit of weight machines (it almost hurts to breathe this morning my muscles are that sore) and an hour long yoga class. I felt great last night, and I am still feeling reasonably well with the exception of a few sore muscles. I am really liking this foray back into exercise....I just hope that I continue to like it. Gym tonight? Maybe.
